YOUR BUYING COMPANION
Get the right fit for your setup.
Three useful checks before you order. Work through them at your own pace.
01Check the fit and intended use
The host must have a compatible 3.5 mm combined-headset port, and the 2.5 mm headset wiring must match the adapter. This is not a USB or Lightning accessory, a two-listener splitter or a universal microphone converter.
02Choose the right configuration
Review the pack, color and other options. The selected configuration and price identify what goes in your cart; the photograph does not establish pack quantity.
03Plan the first use
Read the setup and care guidance below. For a larger supply order, check one item against the actual fit and intended task before distributing the rest.
Use these checkboxes to track your review. Confirm the selected contents and any fitting or care requirements before ordering.
WHAT IT IS · HOW IT WORKS
Match the smaller headset plug to the right host port.
Connect a compatible 2.5 mm headset to a compatible 3.5 mm headset port using this approximately six-inch flexible adapter lead. The cable separates the two connectors, giving more placement freedom than a rigid barrel adapter. Socket diameter alone does not establish the microphone wiring.
One plug, one smaller socket
The 3.5 mm male end goes to the host. The 2.5 mm female end accepts the compatible headset plug; the direction is not reversed.
A short flexible connection
The approximately six-inch lead moves the headset socket away from the host. Allow slack rather than pulling on the connectors.
Check microphone wiring as well
A physically fitting plug can still use incompatible wiring. Test listening and speaking with the actual headset and host before relying on the setup.
