Get the right fit for your setup.
Three useful checks before you order. Work through them at your own pace.
01Check the fit and intended use
The signal direction is DisplayPort source to HDMI display. Check that the computer port is full-size DisplayPort, not Mini DisplayPort, USB-C or HDMI. This is not a reverse-direction HDMI-to-DisplayPort converter. The source specifies up to 1080p / 1920 × 1200; display modes and audio depend on the computer, operating system, HDMI cable and screen.
02Choose the right configuration
Review the pack, color and other options. The selected configuration and price identify what goes in your cart; the photograph does not establish pack quantity.
03Plan the first use
Read the setup and care guidance below. For a larger supply order, check one item against the actual fit and intended task before distributing the rest.
Use these checkboxes to track your review. Confirm the selected contents and any fitting or care requirements before ordering.
WHAT IT IS · HOW IT WORKS
Give a DisplayPort computer a route to an HDMI screen.
Connect a computer with a full-size DisplayPort output to an HDMI monitor, TV or projector. Each white adapter has a male DisplayPort plug and a female HDMI socket; a separate HDMI cable completes the connection. This pack includes two adapters. The source photo illustrates one adapter, not the pack quantity.
Start at the computer output
Match the full-size DisplayPort plug to the computer’s DisplayPort output. A similar-looking HDMI port is a different connection. If the computer has USB-C or Mini DisplayPort, choose an adapter designed for that port instead.
Finish with an HDMI cable
Plug an HDMI cable into the adapter’s female socket, then connect the cable to an HDMI input on the display. The cable is sold separately. Check that its length suits the desk or meeting-room arrangement.
Choose the screen behavior
Select the correct HDMI input on the display. In the computer’s display settings, choose duplicate/mirror for shared content or extend for additional workspace. Select a supported resolution if the display remains blank.

CHECK THE CONNECTION
DisplayPort out. HDMI in.
Match both ends before ordering. The adapter goes at the computer; a separate HDMI cable connects it to the display.

How to use it.
- 1
Confirm the port and direction
Identify the full-size DisplayPort output on the computer and HDMI input on the display. Check the supported display mode before connecting.
- 2
Connect the adapter and cable
Insert the DisplayPort plug into the computer without forcing it. Connect a separate HDMI cable between the adapter and display.
- 3
Select the display input
Turn on the display and choose the HDMI input used by the cable. Open the computer’s display settings to detect or arrange the screen.
- 4
Check picture and sound
Choose a supported resolution and mirror or extend mode. If audio is needed, select the display/HDMI audio output where supported by the computer and screen.

BEFORE YOU ORDER
Useful answers.
How many adapters are included?
Two white DisplayPort-to-HDMI adapters. The product photo illustrates a single adapter. HDMI cables, screens and computers are not included.
Does this work in both directions?
No. It is listed for a DisplayPort computer output feeding an HDMI display input. It is not an HDMI-output-to-DisplayPort-input converter.
Is this a USB or USB-C adapter?
No. The male plug is full-size DisplayPort. It does not fit a USB-A, USB-C or Mini DisplayPort port.
Is 4K supported?
This source listing specifies up to 1080p HDTV / 1920 × 1200 PC graphics. A 4K capability is not verified for this offer.
Why is there no picture?
Check the display input, cable seating and direction of the adapter. Confirm the computer detects the display and choose a supported resolution. Test the HDMI cable with another compatible setup if needed.
Will sound play through the screen?
The source describes audio pass-through, but the computer, software, HDMI cable and display must all support the selected audio format. Select the HDMI/display output in sound settings.
