The camera, computer or reader must support the actual card type, capacity and file system; an adapter does not upgrade an older host’s capabilities. This product does not include a microSD card, a full-size memory card or a USB card reader. Check your equipment’s manual before purchase.

WHAT IT IS · HOW IT WORKS
Use a small card in a compatible full-size SD slot.
Place a compatible microSD card inside the adapter, then insert the assembled card into an appropriate full-size SD slot. These are passive adapter shells: they contain no memory and do not connect directly to USB. Choose a pack of two, three, four or five adapters. The gallery shows front and back views, not a promise about the selected pack quantity.
An adapter shell, not extra storage
The black shell changes the card’s physical form factor so a compatible microSD card can fit a full-size SD slot. It does not provide additional gigabytes, speed up a slow card or turn an unsupported card type into a supported one.
Check the host as well as the card
Read the camera or reader’s card requirements. The full-size slot must support the card standard and capacity you intend to use. A physical fit alone does not establish that the device can read or write the card.
Choose the number of adapters
The pack choices count individual adapter shells. Compare the pack price and the number needed for your existing cards. Memory cards and the equipment pictured in a setup example are not included.

How to use it.

Confirm card and host support
Check the microSD card type, capacity and file system against the instructions for the camera, computer or reader with the full-size SD slot.

Seat the microSD card
Orient the card and adapter according to their markings. Slide the card into the adapter without forcing it and make sure it sits securely.

Insert the assembled adapter
Place the adapter into the compatible SD slot in the indicated direction. Check that the host recognizes the card before saving important files.

Eject before removal
Use the host’s safe-removal procedure and wait for writing to finish. Remove the adapter by its body. If writing is blocked, check the Lock slider and the host’s instructions.

Useful answers.
Is a memory card included?
No. The selected pack contains adapter shells only. Supply your own compatible microSD card.
Does it connect to a USB port?
No. It fits a full-size SD card slot. A separate suitable card reader is needed for a computer or phone that has no compatible SD slot.
Does the adapter increase capacity or transfer speed?
No. Storage capacity remains that of the inserted card. Performance depends on the card and host, and an adapter does not upgrade an older device’s card support.
Will it work with every capacity of microSD card?
Do not assume universal capacity support. The source lists microSD and microSDHC; the host’s supported card standards, maximum capacity and file-system requirements still apply.
Why does the picture show two sides?
The gallery illustrates front and back views of the adapter. The chosen two-, three-, four- or five-pack determines the number supplied.
Why can the host not write to the card?
Check the adapter’s Lock slider, the host’s instructions and whether the card is supported and seated correctly. Do not remove a card while the host is writing.
