Allow space for the full slider movement. Avoid microphones, indicator lights, proximity sensors and facial-recognition hardware around the camera.
Privacy has more than one layer
A lens cover does not disable the microphone, stop malicious software or replace camera permissions. Keep the device’s own privacy and security settings in use.

Clean and dry the mounting area according to device instructions. Position the opening over the lens without blocking surrounding components.

Attach and test
Apply the adhesive cover, move the shutter fully open and check the camera image for obstruction.

Close after use
Slide the shutter across the lens when finished. If it interferes with the display or closure, remove it according to the device’s care guidance.

Does it cover or mute the microphone?
No. Use the device or application controls to manage microphone access.

Is this a 4K camera?
No. It is a passive privacy cover, not a camera. Resolution, video format and storage-card specifications do not apply.
